Dr. Alfred Fitoussi received surgical training in breast surgery in French advanced services :

• Saint Antoine Hospital (plastic surgery)
• Pitié Salpêtrière Hospital (Senological surgery)
• Henri Mondor Hospital (plastic surgery and microsurgery)
• Institut Gustave Roussy (breast cancer surgery).

He has also worked in several departments in the United States (Columbia University New York, M-D Anderson in Atlanta, …).

After spending ten years at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, he joined the team of the Institut Curie in 1994.

He will develop the customized care of breast cancer, participate in the outbreak of the disease. Oncoplasty and the development of breast reconstruction by prosthesis and then by musculocutaneous flap. The aesthetic part of the management of breast cancer, reconstruction and malformations becomes essential and is an integral part of the treatment of these mammary pathologies.
